SKELETON COAST
by John H Marsh

CHAPTER 27
May, 1978
MORE than a third of a century has passed since I wrote those last words and, believe it or not, these are being writtcn on Skeleton Coast in the very area where the shipwrecks and rescues took place!
And you, reader, could get here just easily and quickly as I did: 4 hours' flying from Windhoek in a scheduled mini airliner, any Friday afternoon!
And I am sure you would find it just as interesting to be here as I do.
But before I describe what I have seen and experienced on this, my first visit to the coast that I helped to put on the map so many years ago, let me tell you what happened subsequent to their rescue to those individuals of whom I have been able to get news.
