7.12.42. Evening "Purros" junction of Gumatum and Hoaraseb rivers en route to Khumib river mouth. 100 miles W.N.W. from Zesfontein Obtaining supply of drinking from "Ghorra" waterhole in riverbed. This is the last drinking water, from here no water was issued for washing or shaving.
